Story:

I am an Aboriginal man. I believe my Aboriginality comes from my grandmother who was from Victoria.

I spent my childhood not knowing, but always feeling Aboriginal.

I've always enjoyed art and craft. During high school at Foster and Canley Vale I enjoyed wood carving, batik work and ceramics.

A few years ago I completed a course in sculpture at Lismore TAFE.

Since March 2008 I have been attending Boolarng Nangamai at Gerringong.

Being exposed to the artwork of others and interacting with artists has awakened my interest in art.

Since coming to the studio I enrolled in a course, Cert II in ATSI Cultural Arts TAFE.

I have begun to weave using native grasses and my paintings are happening.

I am influenced by Aboriginal Dreamtime stories, particularly the Rainbow Serpent.

I strongly identify with my Aboriginality, Aboriginal issues and the environment.

I am a member of the Hemp Party and the Theosophical Society.
